Course dates for the year 2020

February 9 to February 27, 2020 This mixed level course will be taught by Rajiv and Swati Chanchani, and will consist of 22 lessons of asana-pranayama (42 hours), and three lectures (3 hours).
March 2 to March 20, 2020 This mixed level course will be taught by Rajiv and Swati Chanchani, and will consist of 22 lessons of asana-pranayama (42 hours), and three lectures (3 hours).

April 1 to April 20 , 2020

 

This Special Course will be led by Rajiv and Swati Chanchani. It will consist of: 22 lessons of asana-pranayama (42 hours), plus lectures, study sessions, recitation, outings, the celebration of Hanuman Jayanti, etc.
Eligibility: All Certified Iyengar-Yoga Teachers. All Iyengar Yoga Teacher-Trainees (of any level) who are enrolled in a recognized program. All who have been engaged in yogic practices for over 15 years and who have an established practice.
April 26 to May 2, 2020 This Beginners' Course will be taught by Rajiv and Swati Chanchani, and will consist of 12 lessons of asana-pranayama (18 hours).
August 1 to August 19, 2020 This mixed level course will be taught by Rajiv and Swati Chanchani, and will consist of 22 lessons of asana-pranayama (42 hours), and three lectures (3 hours).
October 01 to October 19 This mixed level course will be taught by Rajiv and Swati Chanchani, and will consist of 22 lessons of asana-pranayama (42 hours), and three lectures (3 hours).
October 22 to October 28, 2020 This Beginners' Course will be taught by Rajiv and Swati Chanchani, and will consist of 12 lessons of asana-pranayama (18 hours).
November 1 to November 20, 2020 This Special Course will be led by Rajiv and Swati Chanchani. It will consist of: 22 lessons of asana-pranayama (42 hours), plus Ayurvedic consultations by highly qualified and experienced Ayurvedic doctors, lectures, study sessions, outings, the celebration of Patanjali Jayanti, Diwali, etc.

Eligibility for November course: All Certified Iyengar-Yoga Teachers. All Iyengar Yoga Teacher-Trainees (of any level) who are enrolled in a recognized program. All who have been engaged in yogic practices for over 8 years and who have an established practice.

In general, an orientation-session is held on the eve of the beginning of each course to familiarize students to the theme of the course, expectations and policies of the Centre. A typical day during a Yoga course would include a two hour asana class in the morning, and in the evening a two hour pranayama class or a lecture. Free days and spare time are spent practicing, reading in the library or local sightseeing.
